The Meibes balancing vessel combines air separation, sludge separation and hydraulic separation in one device. It is suitable for up to 70 kW (3 m³/h).
The Meibes balancing vessel offers three functions in one device: air separation, sludge separation and hydraulic separation. It has an integrated magnetic separator and is suitable for up to 70 kW (3 m³/h). In addition to the automatic air vent for air separation, a baffle specific to the device is integrated for effective separation of air bubbles. The hydraulic separator function is optional; if only the air separator and sludge separator are wanted, the flow and return lines can be independent of each other. Particles from the installation are captured by magnetic separators; for maintenance, the separators are taken out of their sleeve (no draining of water is necessary) and the collected sediment and dirt are discharged through the drain valve. The connections are at the top for a compact design (DN25 or DN32); a sensor pocket is provided. Used together with the Meibes ready-made manifold system, it forms an efficient, attractive and functional distribution system.
