The Meibes circulation valve is a thermal control element used in domestic water circulation lines according to DVGW W 551 and W 553. The parts in contact with water are made of corrosion-resistant bronze. There are only two operating levels: draining and combined thermometer. It provides thermal regulation in the 50-60°C setting range with an accuracy of ±2 K, and performs automatic thermal disinfection at temperatures above 65°C. The flow rate can be set manually according to the diagram; the valve is DIN-DVGW tested. The operating pressure is 10 bar and the operating temperature is up to 90°C. Versions with female thread (Rp 1/2, 3/4, 1) and male thread (G 3/4, G 1, G 1 1/2) are offered, from DN 15 to DN 25, with and without insulation. A thermometer and insulation are optionally included.
