From 1855 Industrial Roots to Modern Storage & Heating Excellence
Tracing its origins to the foundation of StEG in 1855 and industrial manufacturing in Vienna, the company focused its production on water heating and enamel technology in 1968, was renamed Austria Email in 1972, and consolidated all production at its main Knittelfeld plant in 1979.
Following strategic expansions in Germany (1991, 1999), the commissioning of a new buffer storage plant (2009), and a state-of-the-art R&D laboratory and training center (2012), Austria Email formed a strategic alliance with Groupe Atlantic in 2013 and expanded further with the acquisitions of ACV Germany (2020) and Thermic Energy / Hautec Group (2021).
