A.O.Smith IT 300-3000

The IT is a single coil indirect calorifier in ten sizes from 300 to 3000 litres, suited to a wide range of applications.

The A.O.Smith IT is an indirect water heater (calorifier) with a single-wall spiral heat exchanger, designed for a wide range of applications. Coil output ranges from 52 to 156 kW depending on the model (80-60°C). The sizes are 300, 400, 500, 600, 750 and 1000 litres plus 1500, 2000, 2500 and 3000 litres. The maximum tank working pressure is 10 bar up to 1000 litres and 7 bar for the larger sizes; the coil is rated at 16 bar. The steel is protected by second-generation PermaGlas Ultra Coat glass lining, and an insulated ring base and insulated access cover are standard. The magnesium anode is replaceable, with a flexible magnesium anode as an option for confined spaces. A temperature and pressure valve set to 95°C and an analogue temperature gauge (0-120°C) are included. Options are electric element heat packs (3-36 kW), unvented kits and a destratification pump kit.
