The Viessmann Vitotron 100 (types VMN3 and VLN3) is an electric flow boiler designed for space heating. It is used in closed heating systems according to EN 12828 and is intended only for heating heating water of domestic water quality. The presettings of the heating system are made at the factory, so the appliance is ready for operation; all settings are retained in the event of a power failure. The VMN3 and VLN3 control consoles are operated via a rotary knob and a display. The main screen shows the heat transfer, the indoor and outdoor temperature and the hot water temperature. The operating programmes include a time-controlled (daily/weekly) programme, PARTY (comfortable room and boiler temperature), HOLIDAY (energy-saving and frost-protected), MANUAL (set room temperature) and TURBO (fastest possible way to the set temperature); there are also frost protection and boiler disinfection functions. The ambient temperature at the installation site must be above 0 °C and below 35 °C.
